The National Codification Bureau of the Republic of Korea(NCB KOR)

- To manage the Korean Codification System in conformity with the NATO Codification System(NCS) based on rules and regulations established in AC/135
- To identify and codify items of supply produced by Korean manufacturers and used by military services and NATO countries/sponsorednon-NATO countries.
- To maintain a Total Item Record(TIR) that stores all data for each codified item of supply
